Coconut oil as a biofuel in Pacific Islands - challenges and opportunities

This paper was written by Jan Cloin of the SOPAC Energy Unit. The objective of this paper is to seek economic opportunities in the Pacific for the use of environmentally friendly coconut oil to replace diesel in compression engines. This will be done through collecting experience throughout the region and analysing results in a Pacific context.
