As part of the design process for the Pacific Women program, DFAT in partnership with the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat hosted two workshops in Suva, Fiji on economic empowerment for women and changed attitudes and behaviours. These workshops provided an opportunity for organisations and groups from across the region and beyond to present information about programs which have been reviewed or evaluated and have clear evidence of successful impact in either of these two areas. The aim was to draw from the information as part of the design, and also to provide a clearing house process for others to learn and engage with the two areas.
