The Maritime Zones Act 2012 defines the baseline, territorial sea, internal waters, archipelagic waters, contiguous zone, exclusive economic zone and continental shelf of Tuvalu. 

Territorial Sea Baselines

Extended Continental Shelf Claims (under Article 76 of UNCLOS)

Tuvalu made a joint presentation with France and New Zealand to the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf Claims on 29 August 2013 in respect of the area of the Robbie Ridge.The Declaration of Territorial Sea Baselines 2012 and the Declaration of Archipelagic Baselines 2012 contain the geographical coordinates of the baselines of the six separate islands of Tuvalu and the archipelagic baselines around the archipelago of Tuvalu.
