e Marine Spaces (Territorial Seas) (Rotuma and its Dependencies) (Amendment) Order 1981 made under the Marine Spaces Act 1977 proclaims the geographical coordinates of the archipelagic baselines of the Rotuma archipelago. The Marine Spaces (Archipelagic Baselines and Exclusive Economic Zone) Order 1981 proclaims the geographical coordinates of the archipelagic baselines of the Fiji archipelago and the coordinates for the normal baselines drawn around Ceva-i-ra. 

Maritime Zones

The Marine Spaces (Territorial Seas) (Rotuma and its Dependencies) (Amendment) Order 1981 proclaims the geographical coordinates of the outer limits of the territorial seas surrounding the Rotuma archipelago. The outer limits of the territorial seas surrounding the archipelago of Fiji are defined in coordinates contained in the Marine Spaces (Archipelagic Baselines and Exclusive Economic Zone) Order 1981. This Order also proclaims the outer limits of the exclusive economic zone of Fiji.

Extended Continental Shelf Claims (under Article 76 of UNCLOS)

Fiji made a presentation to the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf Claims on 26 August 2009 in respect of the South East Region of the North Fiji Basin, Lau-Colville, Tonga-Kermadec Complex. Fiji has additionally submitted preliminary information the Commission on the Limits of the Continental Shelf in relation to the following claims: Fiji and Solomon Islands on the Charlotte Banks Region; and Fiji, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu on the North Fiji Basin.
