Power Upgrade For Aitutaki, Cook Islands - Environmental Review Of Current Operations and Preliminary Environmental Assesment Of Proposed Upgrade (DRAFT)

The Government of the Cook Islands commissioned a power study for Aitutaki. This report covering the environmental issues is a component of the study. The study comprises a Preliminary Environmental Impact Assessment of the power upgrade recommendations of the main study and includes an environmental review of the current power operations as an essential component of any power upgrade study, so that. environmental requirements and costs can be integrated into the overall power upgrade plan. The report was prepared by Dick Watling (Principal, Environment Consultants Fiji [email protected], under contract to Clay Engineering Ltd., between 23-28th May 2005.
