Deputy Speaker of the House: Women Leaders Vital for Bougainville

Hon Francesca Rhianna Semoso, the Deputy Speaker of the Bougainville House of Representatives, is an advocate for women in leadership. As one of the only four women Members of Parliament (MPs) in a 40 member Parliament she is an ardent supporter of Temporary Special Measures (TSMs) to increase the number of women in the region’s highest decision making body.
