HELLOThe Kuk Early Agricultural World Heritage Site is located in Wahgi Valley in Western Highlands Province. It covers 116ha of swampland that has been systematically cultivated over the last 9,000 years. It is about 12.5 km northeast of Mt. Hagen City, the provincial capital of Western Highlands Province. Kuk Swamp is located in a large inter-‐ ontane valley in the interior of New Guinea at 1560 m above mean sea level.
